Collette Bourke

Osteopathic Director

  • Initially working at a few different clinics around the North West Collette established The Village Osteopaths in 2013 before taking over The Lytham Osteopaths in 2023.

    An in demand osteopath due to her highly effective treatment combined with interpersonal skills and experience, Collette has over 20 years experience with a track record of delivering quality care.

  • Collette is an Advanced Perrin Technique Practitioner, becoming one of the first licensed practitioners in 2005 and working alongside Dr Perrin until 2019.

    Collette was awarded the Excellence in the Perrin Technique Gold Certificate in 2012 for her work and expertise in the field.

  • Collette specialises in paediatrics developing her interest and skills following the birth of her first child.

    In clinic parents have sought Collette with their newborn as young as four days old, whilst she has helped children and young adults with physical and developmental issues.

    As a mother of four Collette has a lot of experience inside and outside of clinic, with lots of tips and advice for new-mums and baby routines.

  • Collette is recommended by many health professionals for pre and post- natal care. She has helped many women through pregnancies, easing aches and pains whilst helping to prepare for a uncomplicated birth. Collette also provides bespoke aftercare to help new mum’s recover and physically adapt to their new role and responsibilities.

    Alongside pre and post natal treatments Collette provides support for women at different stages of their lives. Collette helps women with pelvic issues, headaches and other related physical issues stemming from hormone imbalances.

 

David Feherty

Associate Osteopath

  • David has a deep knowledge of the anatomy and a range of different treatment methods at his disposal, having been practicing as a manual therapist since 2000, before becoming an osteopath.

    David tailors’ treatment to your specific problem, the symptom and root cause whilst ensuring you leave with knowledge of the issue and how treatment will make a positive impact.

  • David is adept at determining the right treatment approach for your pain. Pain can be a multifaceted experience, which impacts different parts of the body. Whether it is a recent injury, something which resurfaces every-so often or something you have been living with for a long time, David’s approach and treatment is effective in alleviating pain for long-term benefits and enhancing your overall well-being.

  • Alongside sharing his name with a former professional golfer and current golf broadcaster, David too knows his way round a golf course. As such, he is all too aware of the restrictions a player’s body can have on their golf game. Whether it’s impacting their swing speed, accuracy or just them coming off the course with aches and pains, David has the tools to diagnose your issue – both in clinic and with a golf club in-hand using our unique bio-dynamic TPI assessment protocol.

  • Acupuncture can help the effects of perimenopause and menopause as you transition from one hormonal environment to another. David has seen the benefits of acupuncture for menopausal patients, particularly those who look for alternatives HRT because it available to them because of a health condition or risk profile. Acupuncture represents an effective, gentle alternative treatment for patients during this natural change as patient move into their “second Spring’.

  • Sean manages the clinic and can help with any issues you may have with appointments, payments and anything else in-between!

    Sean and his wife Collette took over the management of The Lytham Osteopaths in 2023, and hope with a few tweaks the clinic can continue providing excellent osteopathy and healthcare.
